This last December to January we had a string of a few beautiful days where the snow was melting and the sun was out. Everybody tries to get outside those days because you don't know what the future holds especially with Alaskan weather.
New Years Eve just happened to be perfect to get out and enjoy the weather.
My friend Benny and I decided to grab our friends, Kat and Zac, and head out to the Winner Creek Trail in Girdwood and take a quick hike and shoot for Cut & Caliber.
The sun was perfect that day. Shining through the fog just right, giving Girdwood a very heavenly feel. The trail was still a little snowy and icy, but not too bad to enjoy a good hike in the woods.
It's little adventures like this that keep us connected to nature, and sharing it with friends makes it that much better.
Benny was kind enough to make a video of the day. I hope you enjoy and get inspired to get out and have an adventure with your friends.
